 TPE作为一种高分子弹性材料,具有十分广泛的使用,且具有可循环利用、对环境友好的特点,因此TPE材料现在大有逐渐取代传统橡胶的趋势。这在防毒面具上就有很好的体现,防毒面具是伴随着现代战争而生的产品。是一种针对毒气保护个人呼吸道的一种防护器材。

  普通的防毒面具基本是由硬塑料和软胶材料两种组成,硬塑料一般都是生塑料,属热压加工而成,质感生硬,佩戴不舒适,且不耐用。软胶部分则由橡胶制成,但橡胶自身有异味,而且存在挥发性物质,也并不是理想的防毒面具制造材料。
